Ken Applegate
Senior Portfolio Manager

Ken is responsible for managing our International portfolios and joined our team in September 2007. His investment career began in 1994 in London as a financial analyst and then co-manager of a foreign exchange hedge fund. Ken has spent the last 11 years based in the United States specializing in small cap investing. After working at Dresdner RCM and progressing to Assistant Portfolio Manager for a U.S. and global small growth fund, Ken joined Berkeley Capital Management in 2001. His most recent role there was Lead Portfolio Manager of the Harlingwood Capital Management Small Cap Growth portfolio for five years. Ken is married with two kids. He is without doubt our own sport billy. Ken is a regular at his local tennis club and a keen runner and golfer.
