Fisher Funds KiwiSaver for Not Employed
Even if you are not an employee or self employed you can join KiwiSaver.
By joining KiwiSaver you'll be able to take advantage of the following incentives:

A one-off $1,000 kickstart from the Government just for joining KiwiSaver |

For every $1.00 you contribute the Government will contribute $0.50 up to a maximum of $1,043 per KiwiSaver year (equivalent to $10 per week) if you are over 18 |

Under the Fisher Funds KiwiSaver Scheme if you are not receiving a wage or salary you are not required to make regular contributions. However if you do manage to save, your contribution will be matched by a tax credit contribution of up to $20 per week ($1,043 p.a.) from the Government.
The Fisher Funds KiwiSaver Scheme does not require a minimum annual contribution.
When you do start work you will need to advise your employer that you are a KiwiSaver member and you will be required to make regular contributions from your wages.
